AGAVESKOOL Weekly Journal:
January 5–12, 2025
This week was a big one for AGAVESKOOL. We’re moving from vision to reality, and every task we tackled brought us closer to launch. Here’s what we achieved:
Finalizing the AGAVESKOOL Brand
We wrapped up the brand identity, and it feels like everything is finally clicking into place. The brand book is complete, and the logo design captures exactly what we’re all about: honoring the roots of agave spirits while keeping it fresh and accessible.
Our color palette—featuring warm, earthy tones like Vegas Gold and Dark Green—feels both sophisticated and grounded, while the fonts, Montserrat and Open Sans, make everything look sharp and professional. Every detail was considered, and it’s exciting to see the brand truly take shape.
Mexico City: Where the Magic Happened
Cesar arrived in Mexico City this week, which was huge. Working in person made a massive difference—there’s just no substitute for real-time collaboration. We dove deep into finalizing the AGAVESKOOL platform, organizing the content we’ll need for launch, and streamlining the process so we can hit the ground running.
Between work sessions, there was plenty of inspiration drawn from the city itself—tacos al pastor definitely fueled a few brainstorming breakthroughs.
Establishing Our Digital Presence
We made major progress on the digital side of things:
1. Landing Page:
The “Coming Soon” page is officially live. We started with a Canva template and customized it to fit our brand perfectly. It’s simple, clean, and built to start ranking on Google right away. Even before launch, we’re making sure AGAVESKOOL has a presence online.
2. LinkedIn:
We created the official AGAVESKOOL LinkedIn page and updated our personal profiles to put the project front and center. It’s a small but important step in positioning ourselves as leaders in this space.
Social Media Updates
This week was all about tightening up our social channels:
Logos were updated across platforms like YouTube and Instagram to ensure everything looks polished and cohesive.
We added a new Instagram Story highlight called “Reviews,” where we’ll save every agave spirit review we share. It’s an easy, accessible way to give our followers ongoing value and build credibility in the space.
Why AGAVESKOOL Exists
There’s a gap between how most people think about agave spirits and the rich culture and craftsmanship behind them. Too often, tequila and mezcal are misunderstood, and we’re here to change that. AGAVESKOOL is about creating a space where anyone—from total beginners to seasoned enthusiasts—can learn, explore, and appreciate these incredible spirits.
What’s Next?
We’ve laid the groundwork, but there’s still a lot to do. Next week, we’ll be focusing on refining the platform, creating more content, and pushing forward with our launch plan.
Every step is progress, and we’re excited to see how AGAVESKOOL continues to grow.
Thank you for following along with our journey. If you’re not already connected with us on LinkedIn, Instagram, or YouTube, now’s the time. Big things are coming, and we’re just getting started.
